
Ingredients:
- 1 c chilled butter – diced
- 2 1/2 c pastry flour
- 1 t salt
- 4-6 T ice water
Instructions
- Combine flour and salt in food processor, pulsing quickly to mix.
- Add cold butter and pulse it until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add 2 tablespoons of water and pulse, a few times.
- Add 2 additional tablespoons of water and process for 10-15 seconds until the dough forms a ball. Add more water, one teaspoon at a time, if the dough is too dry.
- Press the dough into a disk and chill at least 60 minutes before using.
