Sprucing Up …. Trim Touch-ups

The wet days of late winter (no snow) seemed like a great time to freshen up all of the trim paint in the house to make it brighter and cleaner for future buyers. We found a Chinook Book coupon for Miller paint so we were able to get two gallons of paint for the price of one. We ended up getting a velvet interior latex paint and asked them to color match it to the original, yellowed oil-based trim paint.

I thought I’d try to do one door or window a day and then finish up with the base boards. Each piece gets holes filled, joints caulked and a nice fresh coat of paint.
