Lefse
Ingredients
- 3 cups of cold mashed potatoes
- 6 T butter
- 2 T milk
- 1 T sugar
- 1 ½ cups flour
Instructions
- Mix the above ingredients together and knead until you have a nice, stiff dough.
- Preheat a lefse griddle to 450 F.
- On a floured surface begin rolling out dough. Dust with flour as needed to keep from sticking.
- Roll out into a nice and thin circle.
- Move the lefse onto the griddle and cook until light brown spots form.
- Flip and cook on the other side.
- Remove lefse and place on a towel, cover to cool.
