Using Leftovers …. Mashed Potatoes (1)

Lefse

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of cold mashed potatoes
  • 6 T butter
  • 2 T milk
  • 1 T sugar
  • 1 ½ cups flour

Instructions

  1. Mix the above ingredients together and knead until you have a nice, stiff dough.
  2. Preheat a lefse griddle to 450 F.
  3. On a floured surface begin rolling out dough. Dust with flour as needed to keep from sticking.
  4. Roll out into a nice and thin circle.
  5. Move the lefse onto the griddle and cook until light brown spots form.
  6. Flip and cook on the other side.
  7. Remove lefse and place on a towel, cover to cool.
