Lefse
Ingredients
- 2 cups of cold mashed potatoes
- 2 T butter
- 3/4 T sugar
- 1 ½ cups flour
Instructions
- Mix the above ingredients together in a stand mixer until it comes together in a ball.
- Chill until ready to roll.
- Preheat the lefse griddle to 450 F.
- Use a floured surface to roll out dough.
- Roll nice and thin – you should see light through it.
- Move the round to the griddle with a lefse stick
- Cook until light brown spots form, then flip and cook the other side.
- Remove lefse and layer and cover on a towel to cool.
