I was checking out the news on YouTube this afternoon and ran across a preview for a Weee! unboxing video. I had seen ads for the grocery delivery service before and had thought about giving it a try. This time, there was a $20 off offer along with free delivery if the order was over $35.

I chose some vegetables, sweet rice cakes and a log for sprouting oyster mushrooms. The price, including a small tip for the driver came to $39.65. The discount brought it down to $19.65.

I decided to compare the price to my local grocery. They didn’t have an oyster mushroom log or sweet rice cakes, or pea shoots, but the rest of the vegetables would have come to $35.73.

Wee! would have had a lower price, even without the discount- and they deliver.

The order came in time. The mushrooms were out of stock so they refunded that cost back to my account. The only problem was the package of bean sprouts, they didn’t look good. I contacted customer service and they refunded that cost also. The rest of the produce looked great.
